Overview and definitions
Settings is the section of the back office where staff manage the platform-wide configuration that governs business rules, pricing, public-facing tools, and communications. Changes made here can affect every loan, every product group, every borrower-facing surface, and every outgoing message.
The Settings area covers the following sections:
| Section | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Interest rate | The system-wide prime rate used by all floating-rate product groups and products. |
| License info | The active license that authorizes the platform to operate. |
| Landing page calculator | The boundaries and parameters for the public loan calculator on the landing page. |
| Scoring model | The internal credit-scoring logic (DMN decision tables) used to evaluate loan applications during origination. |
| Document templates | The library of contract and amendment-agreement templates linked to product groups. |
| Notifications | The library of message templates used for borrower and agent communications. |
Most settings can be viewed by Verifier, Underwriter, Credit Officer, and Collection Manager. Editing is restricted to Credit Officer (and Underwriter, where noted), and every change is fully audited.
